Tracking technologies

We make sure it works out smoothly

In order to accurately track installs and post install events, we use a state of the art SDK solution with a proven industry leading accuracy. Depending on the advertisers’ and affiliates’ needs we also offer tracking integration on a server-to-server basis.

SDK based tracking

Our SDK implementation allows you to track, analyze and optimize mobile game app installs without any additional cost. You can track the source of install, and use real time data on our dashboard to gain valuable insights and adapt your campaigns accordingly. SDK based tracking works on both iOS and Android devices. Once integrated in your game app and submitted to the appstore, the SDK works for all traffic sources and marketing channels.

How does it work?

When a user clicks on an ad that is delivered by one of our affiliates or marketing channels, our system creates a unique device fingerprint taking a set of anonymous but unique information to identify the user and create a transaction ID. While this happens within a just a few milliseconds, the user gets instantly redirected to the Apple AppStore, Google Play Store or any other destination page you have chosen to install your mobile game. As soon as the user opens your app on his device, the user’s fingerprint will be compared to the “click fingerprint” on our servers. In case both fingerprints match we record a successful conversion and attribute it to its respective traffic source.

Why should I use SDK based tracking?

First, if you do not have your own tracking system in place this is the smartest way to get started. Second, the SDK allows you to not only track conversions but also post-install data such as frequency of users’ activity, in-game purchases and other events. This allows you to optimize your budget allocation for traffic sources which bring you the best quality of users. Additionally, it builds the basis to design your payout structure for affiliates to account not only for completed installs but also for user quality. E.g. you can setup revenue share deals or reward affiliates who bring exceptionally good traffic quality.

Server-to-Server based tracking

As an alternative or extension to the SDK based tracking we offer server-to-server tracking using an API or postback URL. This method requires advertisers to have their own conversion tracking in place and report successful conversions back to our servers using unique transaction IDs. Unique transaction IDs allow us to track back the conversion to any traffic source, marketing channel, creative type or other variable.

We are already working with all the major tracking solutions available on the market, and we'll make sure that however your choose to be integrated with us, it goes without a glitch!

As an affiliate, you can use our standardized postback URL server-to-server communication in order to automatically report any of your conversions to the systems you are using, e.g. a custom made interface, campaign optimization tool or your own ad server.

How do you handle different countries and devices?

Our system also allows identifying users’ device/browser and country to enable more precise redirecting of users. E.g. if a user based in the US accesses an offer that is targeted at Canadian users, he will automatically be redirected to the respective (or a comparable) US offer. This procedure ensures that affiliates get maximum return and advertisers only pay for conversions from countries have been specified in the offer.
In addition, we analyze server logs on a daily basis to identify and resolve potential tracking issues as fast as possible. For our affiliates this means that we keep the quota of potentially “lost” conversions as low as possible.
